Hey guys I just picked up my x920bt this week and haven't gotten around to installing it yet. Now I getting a bit confused about being able to stream music via bluetooth from my iPhone 4 to the x920bt. Can I stream music by bluetooth or do I need the iPod cable. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can stream music via Bluetooth. It works extremely well and your car is basically a set of wireless headphones

That being said, the cable will let you use Netflix and pandora and other cool apps that support video out

When playing via bluetooth on the iPhone 4 you don't see any metadata (song info, album art, etc.). This is due to the bluetooth limitations on the iPhone and not the X920bt. Other than that it works fine.

I thought there was an issue with the connection between my iPhone and the X920bt because when you select the Bluetooth Audio on the X920bt it reads something like "iPhone 4 connecting" leading me to believe that it was still in the process of establishing a connection. It would have been clearer to me if it had said "iPhone 4 connected". The whole time all I had to do was hit play.
