I have a Z110BT and the iPod adapter from my old car and I am going to install them in my new car. I'd also like to retain my steering wheel controls so I bought a Metra Axxess ASWC. When I was looking at the ASWC though, it looks like it needs to use the plug that the iPod adapter uses. Is it not possible to use the ASWC with the Z110BT?

There is a special connection on the back of the AVIC for steering wheel controls, it does not use the iPod connection.

Oh you're right. I just dug everything out and the iPod cable does have a 3.5mm jack but it doesn't plug into the back of the head unit... it terminates at the plug. Cool. Nothing to worry about. Thanks!
