X910BT problems with iphone4

Hey guys,

 

Just installed my X910BT into my VF39 2006 WRX. Im loving it! Everything works except playing music off of my iphone 4! It syncs up perfect and charges, contacts uploaded! When I Try and play songs or movies off my phone it shows the music is playing but im getting no sound! its like its on mute. With the Video i get nothing! Help please! Ive checked my connections and it seems good!

Are you using the Pioneer iPod cable? Also, make sure under settings, AV1 is set to iPod.

Yea its a pioneer cable and av1 setting is set to ipod...still nothing..ive even tried to reset the unit!

I'm assuming other sources (FM/CD/etc) work fine?

 

Try resetting the iPhone, hold down the home and power buttons.

ive also tried hooking up my ipod touch and nano, still nothing. everyhting else works fine (dvd,cd,subs, etc)..everything syncs and shows up but theres just no sound or video.

Weird, my guess would be the RCA plugs got disconnected on the iPod cable, or the cable is bad. Try plugging something else into the RCA's, that will at least tell you if the input is working.

 

Also, just to clarify, you're using this cable: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-n1LnsX4ghrq/p_130CDIU230/Pioneer-CD-IU230V.html right?

Ok so I reconnect my RCA cables and now I've

Got sound but I still can't get any videos to come up. I can hear the sound of my YouTube videos or my Netflix but I can't get it to showup on the unit. What am I doing wrong?

 

Yes I'm using the right pioneer iPod cable.

Got the videos to work buy still can't get Netflix or YouTube to work...

Same problem here but I can't get anything to play or have the head unit recognize the iPod. I ordered the cable from Crutchfield too. I live in Canada so apparently Pandora does not work here..
