Is your Z110/120 as stupid as mine?

Is everyone's Z110/120 as stupid as mine?

I travel for a living and constantly have to look ahead to make sure this thing isn't off on a tangent, which increases my chance of an accident.

I have attached a picture of the screen of an example route.

It will turn me off of a road, turn around and get back on the road at the same point.

This thing is worthless for real navigation.

Oh! I forgot to mention that the multiple route option is nowhere near as sophisticated as it was with the Z3. I am constantly irritated with having to set waypoints to use a common sense route. I currently use a Garmin Nuvi now for navigation. Pioneer went the wrong direction from the Z3 to the Z110.

I think that's a map problem, not an avic problem. Pioneer doesn't make the maps.

It doesn't matter who makes the map they are responsible for what they sell. So when you truck screws up does that mean the manufacturer is not responsible?

Please.

I was simply stating that the issue appears to be caused by incorrect map data at that particular intersection. Things like that happen most often with new over/underpasses that are not yet in the map database. It's possible the 2011 software upgrade will take care of it.

If the unit did that at the majority of intersections, then that would be different.

How about the number of times it tells me to get off the freeway, turn right, make a legal u-turn and turn righ back on to the freeway. On a route I take daily. :?:

Yes, Mine took me off a Motorway onto a rounderbout and then back onto the same Motorway
