i have a d3 unit with 2007 east and west maps.

i would like to update to 2010 maps but im not sure how to do it.

i have a hp desktop with windows 7 and supermulti DVD burner with ligjtscribe Tech.

what program should i use to burn cds?

I am needing the same thing, I have both files, if i get it working on my own, I will keep you updated

got them from a guy here and they work. for the cost of two DL disks and a few mistakes, it was well worth it.. Bonus: the added documentation on use and recovery.
