Hi,

d\

I am having an issue with my Avic-F10BT (AUS - Int. name is Z110BT) unit which I purchased mid last year. I did not install this system myself, so I may not be able to fix it if it is a hardware issue but never the less I will give it a shot. It is running completely standard firmware that came with the device.

Originally, when I plugged my iPod in, it would bring up song information, and allow me to skip on the screen. Now, it just brings up the spin wheel - no song information, and the iPod will randomly drop out every now and then.

*It does not work with any iPods

*iPod is no longer connecting as an accessory on the iPod screen, it just shows that it is charging

*USB and SD card devices work fine in terms of displaying song information

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I suspect that it may be an issue with the iPod connector from the USB input and the iPod, however I don't want to assume that as there may be another way to solve this without buying a new cable which may not work. Another thing is that after browsing these forums I have found that there are ways to custom upgrade the firmware to the latest version - are there any firmware versions for my device?

By the way - this screen doesn't show up anymore: AVIC-Z110BT_right_green_ipod_large.jpg

--- Just the spin wheel, none of the above tabs and no song information.

All help is greatly appreciated - I am happy to take pictures if it helps! By the way - It is installed in my Hyundia i30 - possibly one of the only people to have installed this device in this car.

Thanks!

Guys I just thought that Id add that today when playing my iPod as well as nothing displaying it kept skipping, cutting out and songs wouldn't skip, when i hit the skip button it would just fast forward the song slightly.

Any input or advice would be really appreciated! I can take a video and upload it if it would help! Thanks!

Are you using the Pioneer iPod cable?
