I'm trying to connect my thunderbolt to my Avic 920. Is there something in the back of the deck to connect a cable connecting my phone or better yet a way to use the aux adapter and usb connecting the i pod cable?

Not sure what a thunderbolt is, I have my droid hooked via BT and can play Pandora and my music files on the phone through the 920.

It's been a while, I just paired the two from the BT menu and worked great.

Any other options other than BT? I have a BT home receiver and it tends to lose connectivity every time something passes in front of it. I would prefer to hard wire a usb cable, like how the Ipod cable is attached.

I use my usb cable to connect my android phone to the radio hasn't givin me to many issues. I normally get the error cannot read usb device. The work around I have used for that is change it to tether...then switch it back to using the mem card. Then it recognizes the sd card. Hope that helps....
