I recently bought a 03 Navigator with a D3 already installed. When you go to the Navi Menu setup screen it shows the parking break on at all times, so I assume the previous owner had the bypass done. I keep getting the parking break error on startup, and the dvd is then disabled while moving. I already did a reset of the unit by pressing the button on the faceplate, but no change. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Then the bypass is obviously not done correctly. They probably just grounded the parking brake thinking that would bypass it.
