two years after it's release is there any one who sells the firmware and map update cheaper than Pioneer. is there a chance it may be updated again very soon and therefore worth waiting a little longer? i hate to pay $120 for updates but I have had to reload previous firmware twice to get head unit working properly.

It has been acting quirky and doing crazy stuff. When it stops I reload off SD and then all is good for a while. Just thought the latest would clear things up.
