There is a black box that goes thru the yellow and black wires... what is that? could that go wrong? my unit have problems at the beggining of the day mostly, like restarting for no reason several times.

What kind of car is it?
The black box is typically 1 of 2 things. It's either a line conditioner or the fuse for 12v.

not the fuse, as the fuse, a 10amp is visible on that line. It must be the line conditioner. thank you.
the car is an F150, but the box im refering is in the radio harness, not the truck harness.
