Has anybody added the CD-SR11 Steering Remote to a D1? Is there any installation? Is it just wireless?

yes it is wireless, but it can be a bit annoying having that tied onto your steering wheel via straps. I also have a problem using it in sunlight, since it uses IR to transmit to the navigation. I have had much better luck using the PAC SWI-X to control the navigation using my factory controls. It still uses IR, but you can position the IR transmitter much closer to the unit, so its not that big of an issue.

i got a brand new SR11, still in its original packaging.
i ordered it from the internet and then i found out my sister got me one as well....therefore i have an extra one for sale if anyone is interested
