I posted about this awhile back and after some searching and experimentation it can be done. If u have a poi list from google earth just export the kml file and stick it on a usb or sd. Boot to testmode and go to APL2. Now, create a directory structure like this:

igo8/content/userdata/poi

 

Drop the kml file in there and reboot. Now in the poi list your poi s should show up as their own listing.
