Ok I have an f700bt i bought off craigslist, it works fine and all, and i set up my own pass word "nosbox" but i took it to a local car audio repair place and when i got it back it wont let me enter my password, it comes up with greyed out letters, how can i get it back to where i can enter the password without sending it to pioneer?

i attempted that but it didnt work, the car audio place installed some type of relay on it to bypass that, could that be a problem?

Yes, the units are not bypassed via a relay.

get rid of the relay and tell them to do the bypass right (print off the instructions from here)to have your problem fixed
