Did the Z1 come with an install sleeve or some kind of holder to keep it in place or did you have to fabricate something?

Sorry for the late response Darth...are you same guy in the Passat World forum? (Beale AFB) The Z1 does not come with a sleeve that you can use on the Passat. I had to buy the Pioneer Double DIN kit and it worked like a charm. Hope this helps. BTW, this install was for a friend. From my last contact with her, the radio is doing well. Now, she worried about it getting stolen...she lives in the Bay Area.
