I have read the sticky about using eBay cable or any other cable other than pioneer bot working right with the z120bt. My problem is if my car is sitting outside in the sun all day on a hot day when I get in, my iPhone 4 doesn't connect properly to the headunit. Mostly pandora app doesn't work but sometimes it won't even charge. But If I run the a/c for like 20 minutes the pandora app will work fine. What I don't get is that even though pandora doesn't work I can still watch Netflix. I called pioneer and they told me to send it out to them on my dime and it would take 3-4 weeks. What I don't get and hopefully somebody knows is is this just from the heat or is it possible for the cable to be to blame.

 

(I ordered the official cable and was sent a cable made by PAC didn't send it back because I received a discount on the cable.)
