From that demo I am glad I got a D2 while they were still available. iPod integration is a decent feature but I can't see giving up an adjustable screen and a dedicated navi slot to get it.

I'll be waiting for the updated nav disk for my D2

Looks good to me. I never use the CD slot, only my ipod so I doubt I will ever take the nav disk out and I can't wait to get a real ipod display

Oh, man, I can't wait! The poor iPod support is the only readon i didn't spring for one of the earlier models. This one looks perfect to me. I also love the fact that the screen is fixed and the disc slides into the top. Eliminate moving parts and you've got a more reliable unit. I'm picking one up as soon as they're available!

I am really excited for the D3. I am sold on the ability to change the color of the buttons I think that pioneer has lagged behind in doing this. I am real picky when it comes to making a unit looking like its factory. Also the Ipod intergration more than makes up for the single disc slot. Between that and xm even now I never use my standard cd player so I'll just leave in the navi disc and drive! Im also excited to see how cheap they'll be on ebay. Good job pioneer!

Personally, I think for the price the D3 owns the old D1/D2.
