hi,

i have a pioneer avic f900bt with original update cmfd (something like that)

and now "custom" map ta2009 Q2

i'd like to install europe ta2009 Q4 but i don't have enough space on avic so i'd like to knowif it is possible to install maps on sd card? and how to proceed? simply copy maps on folder? which folder?

thank you for help

I would just overwrite the Q2 maps with the Q4. You may actually have to delete the Q2 maps first. Sometimes, if you are just overwriting, it will say not enough disk space, but still allow you to copy what it can. Just go ahead. Because it is overwriting, the space becomes available as it goes. I have been able to do a full copy (some time ago) when it said not enough space. Just a thought, but I'd give it a try. As usual, always have a backup on hand. Good luck.

i moved map/poi/buildings from avic to sd card and then move q4 from sd card to avic but at a moment it said impossible to write and when i check memory there's no memory left so this method doeasn't work...

only maps takes too much space... (before installing poi and biuldigns)
