I put many (almost all) mods in my F500BT and i noticed that some mods worked with sound (guidance voice and warning) and others without sound. When i chose the best mod (without sound) i seeked for some solution for this problem and i did not find any. Then i saw that in SYS.TXT when you open with notepad (or other TXT program) you will see in the beginning:

;Uncomment the device you are using. Make sure you comment out the existing one if you change it.

If you dont uncomment that line the mod will work without sound. You have to uncomment to make sound work.

you're a GOD - I was looking for days now, why the F500 of my father has lost its ability to talk - and it was just that stupid type entry.
