I have had my x920bt installed in 2 different cars with the same issue. After 30-40 minutes of driving
with my iphone connected to the cable and listening to Pandora or my ipod, the stereo looses communication
with the iphone. It will not reconnect until the car has sat for a while, which leads me to believe it is a
heat issue. It will still stream via bluetooth and the sound still works, but the phone won't connect via
the cable. I have tried two different iphones with different firmware versions with no change. I have also
tried to duplicate the problem with just power and ground connected on the bench (no outputs connected) and
my iphone was still communicating fine after 3 hours. I sent the 920 back to Pioneer to be repaired, and they
sent it back to me with no explanation if repairs were made or not. Just a receipt that says, "no charge,
under warranty." They didn't even send my original box back. While waiting for the 920 to come back, I traded
vehicles, and after installing the 920 in my new car, I have the exact same issue. I have searched and not
found this issue mentioned elsewhere, so if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.
