Getting the same problem as a lot of people are having, i.e screen changing to black with just the message showing, only way around this

is to turn the camera of in the settings. What is the correct way to wire it up and get it working properly??

all sorted now, purple wire to reversing light (positive), camera positve connected to that, the rest to ground, works fine
