My avic f700 has seemingly stopped indexing my ipod correctly. I have reformatted my ipod and turned on/off indexing multiple times, but for some reason when i go to search an artist it wont find the artist name by the letter.... even though I can find and play that artists songs by scrolling through manually. What is wrong with my AVIC!?

So to be clear my entire library is technically indexed and playable -- however I can not search by letter after ~ d or e which makes finding an artist a PITA

I believe I am using version 2 software.
