Hello gents,

Yes, I am new. And yes I did perform a search of the topic but am having trouble finding relevant information which helps me so if it has been covered please bear with me.

First off, two weeks ago I installed a z120BT in my Ram truck, which worked flawlessly until I got the CAUTION message yesterday. I removed the unit to install the appropriate NAV Bezel I just received from Dodge and hooked the unit back up to get this message. It worked fine, removed unit (did not remove ANY connections just the plugs) reinstalled unit with new bezel. The unit will work fine after it resets (unhooking for 30 min) if the key is in acc position but once I turn the key to run or start I get the caution screen. That is all I can get unless I reset again.

The unit is wired through the PAC vehicle controller. The park brake wire, moved 1 pin over yellow mute wire, and both grounds are soldered into the ground of PAC harness for the bypass.

Like stated, it worked just fine like this until the unit was unplugged for 20 minuets yesterday.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me fix this! My dash is in shambles at the moment!

Thanks

My phone # is 903 855 nine seven five eight if anyone would be willing to help!

Fixed it! Was able to fix the problem by re setting the unit and turning the back up camera OFF. I guess the default from Pioneer is on and for some reason my set up does not like it.

Thanks anyway.

I get the same message. My mechanic can’t figure it out either. Everything was working fine until the rear view camera was connected. First the cam wasn’t working. Then he changed the polarities option. The camera now works but it doesn’t go off that screen even after shifting it to park or drive. It seems like it’s just stuck on the rear view screen.

I wonder what it could be.
