I recently decided to install the free 2.0080 upgrade on the Pioneer website and now my unit is locked up. It fires up to the splash page for about 10 seconds and cuts out.

 

I have tried the usual troubleshooting techniques, i.e. reset button/eject button, reset button/reject button/map button/menu button, disconnecting the battery. I saw a few possible ideas from some of you, but once again I cannot get past the first few seconds of powering up.

 

And of course, Pioneer was absolutely no help, just want me to send it in for 4-6 weeks.

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
