Hey guys,

Lovely forum you guys have here! I stumbled upon it trying to find a solution for my Pioneer headunit, the 2300DVD, recently i bought it and got it professionally installed. However, we cannot get it to agree with me that I am not driving. The guy has tried the legitimate way, wiring the green properly and grounding it straight down to earth through the car body. However, it keeps coming up with the "viewing video whilst driving is strictly prohibited."

Is my unit faulty?

I have the same unit. It sounds like the guy just took the light green wire and grounded it, instead of hooking it up to the actual parking brake, or using a switch/relay.
