I want my AVIC D1 to stop barking at me.

When I was setting up my home address I told it to do the dog bark thing when I get home. Now, everytime I start my car, the damn thing barks at me for a few seconds. I cannot figure out how to turn off the noise when I am at home.

Go into the address book. Next to each entry is an icon like a piece of paper. Hit that next the entry for your home. That'll let you edit the entry and remove the dog bark.

You da man, thank you!

LOL, I have the dog barking for home too on my Z1. I'm about to shoot the damn dog as well. I like the radar tone. Much less annoying yet noticeable.

I borrowed my buddy's truck a while back and put a different sound for every place in his address book, along with a few random places he drives by frequently. He's not very technical, so he still hasn't figured out how to make it stop. He calls and cries about the car crashes he keeps hearing, it's great.

HAHAHAHA that's just mean. Then again I guess that goes along with your post about people reading the manual.

I'm noone to be trifled with.

When I was @ Sound Advice, I once booby-trapped a co-workers' test bench with a couple bottle rockets and a model rocket engine igniter hooked to the remote lead on his test radio. Boy, was that classic.

You jimmy are a trip.

Man, I'd hate to see what you do to people you don't like!

He got me back pretty good. Caught me in the john and used WD-40 with the little straw and shot a flamethrower under the door.

Speaking of flame throwers, It could have been much worse. He could have tricked you into eating something really spicy and hot, and then you would have been shooting one of these out of your ass.

I felt like that this morning, I must've eaten 100 hot wings this weekend. Good game last night, eh?

Posted Jan 22, 2007 · 18:23 UTC#15

Yeah, I've had mornings like that.

One helluva game last night. The best I've seen this year. One of the greatest NFL playoff games I've ever seen.

I was down $100 and that game brought me to even.

I like the Colts in the SB!

Cheers,

Kevin

I would love to see the Bears win it, being a Gator and all, but as much as I like Grossman, I'm thinking he might not hold up to the pressure, so the Colts are probably the better bet. But I'm glad it's the Colts, not NE, going up against the Bears, because I think the Bears have a better shot at beating Indy vs. NE. It should make for some great football, nonetheless.....

I actually expected New Orleans to put up a better fight than they did, though. Brees must be rather embarrassed.

Posted Jan 23, 2007 · 02:26 UTC#18

Yeah,

My money was on the Saints and the Colts this week. In my opinion, Breese has no reason to be embarassed. Chicago is a hostile environment and it's hard for any dome team to battle the elements of an open air stadium this time of year. The Saints had a great run. And compared to where they were this time last year, this was quite an accomplishmen for them. If they can beef up their defense in the off season, they will definitey be Superbowl contenders for 2007.

Colts Vs. Chicago should make for a great Superbowl. Manning and company were due to make it to the big show.

Again, my money is on the Colts.

Yeah, it was about time. I still think that the Saints/Bears game should have been much closer, though. Championship games shouldn't be that one-sided, kinda reminded me of a game earlier this month in Arizona.......ouch.
