This is my second install for this radio,I am putting it in a chrysler 300,I got everything to power and play but my gps is acting up.

The screen says no data available.It was working in old car perfectly with the same dvd.Its a copy I got off here.It shows my location but the gps dosent move the gps attena is ok but it might be the cd.Any thoughts how to fix it Or did I forget something.The unit was sitting for 6 months then I did the install.Was I suppossed to install the orginally disc then update it
