F900BT rerouting the AV2 input to the back

i am wondering if it is possible to reroute the av2 input (3.5mm jack) form the headunit's front plate to the back. so i could do a clean install of a second av source. did any do this yet? i suppose you'd have to open the headunit.

i do remember seeing somebody do it in a very old thread.

i suppose you'd have to open the headunit.

well there is magic, but that is usually not as reliable!
