is the unit receiving a gps signal? IS the vss wire hooked up? Have you tried modifying the current location back to your correct location.

It is a computer, so maybe it simply crashed. There is little paper clip sized button on the front bottom left of the unit ... it is a reset. Try pressing it if you are still having problems.
