hi im new to the forum and looking for a little help from the more experienced members.

i have a f910bt which has become bricked due to a flat car battery.

i have tried to reinstall the firmware without success although i can get the unit into test mode so know its a software problem.

i sent it away to an independent repairer as it was out of warranty and they claim the firmware is corrupt so motherboard needs replacing,

is this possible or am i getting ripped of here???
