ive got a f900bt and now sometimes the sound from the ipod would only come through 1 channel, mainly the right, if i wiggle the wire itd go back to normal.

now reading around for some people its the connection on pioneers ipod wire and for some the actual rca connectors.

 

im looking to sell my unit and dont want the buyer to suffer from the same problems once hes installed it so was wondering would it be worthwhile to cut off the old connectors from both the rca in and pioneers ipod cable and solder in some new ones.

would this solve the problem

You don't have a cheapy cable do you? The apple one is the business, anything else not so good.

ive got the official pioneer one bought from offical retailer thats wherent too sure if its the cable or not and since im not gonna have it for much longer cant rwally buy the apple one and test it as its intermittent in my car. sometimes can be working fine for a month before its go faulty again
