Hey everyone,

I'm new at this so forgive my lack of knowledge on these issues. I have a 2007 civic and have had my F900bt for about 2 years I believe. I have an Iphone 4G as well.

What I would like to do is play my Iphone on my unit and have the ability to control everything on screen? My issue comes in because I do not have the RCA connection harness.

So I'm wondering If i buy the cd-iu230 cable from Pioneer and plug it into the USB section, will this allow the music to be played and on screen controls? (Also if this does work, is pandora able to be controlled also?)

If that does not work is my only option to buy the rca connection harness and then buy the pioneer ipod cable?

I'm looking for answers and I appreciate any help.

If anyone is selling an extra RCA connection harness please let me know if my first thought of just the cable does not work.

Thank you.

Tyler

yes F900bt will control your iphone, you can pick up a RCA harness on ebay.

just to clarify, you will have to have the RCA harness.

the USB will only control the ipod/iphone, the sound is carried through the RCA cables

the sound from pandora will transmit this way, but you will have to use the phone to control pandora
