do they make metal double dins?? i think it will be helpful for theives from prying out ur system... i just got my f90bt stolen and i had a viper alarm, took extra steps to secure my car etc... added extra screw and nuts to the plastic dins they sell but someone still got in and pryed it out breaking all the tabs...

i think i metal or steel din would help alot, i know it aint much but its a step up

They dont make one that i know of i used alumiunim angle iron with platic brackets

thats a good point, typically all these brackets are plastic. I have one on order and may ask a friend to make an exact copy from aluminum.

I'd rather they get the unit and not mangle my center console/dash. Insurance can buy me another unit...
