Hey guys, this is my first post here. I am having some problems with my F700BT. I removed it to plug in a mic so i can use the bluetooth phone funcion. I put everything back together, and on my drive to work this morning, the unit is randomly cycling through stations. it will be fine for a couple minutes, then start cycling through pre-sets randomly. sometimes it stops on one for a couple minutes, sometimes a couple seconds, and sometimes it just cycles. pushing the up direction on the volume knob seems to stop it on a station, but then it starts right back up. I though maybe it was a radio problem, so i swapped to my SD card, and it does a similar thing, but it randomly backtracks tracks. i'll be playing track 5, and it will swap to 4, then 3, etc. Any idea what is going on? i didnt unplug anything when i took it out, but there was quite a bundle of wires that fell out of where the previous owner had stuffed them. i tried to get them all back up in there, but did i possibly crimp something? I have not tried a re-set yet (i am at work researching this). i didnt know if maybe something had happened where power had been sent to the unit while i was holding down a button, like a joy stick on the old N64's where if you start the game with the joy stick to the left, it will accept that as home. Any help would be great. i have a half hour commute to work, and that's a long time to listen to 6 random stations and not finish any of what you're listening to

sounds like the multi button on the front (volume knob) may be damaged, did you let the unit lay down on its face while you where plugging in the mic?

also are there any steering wheel controls that work the radio? (a pinched resistance wire, could cause one of the commands to be falsely read, however i would expect which command is read to be totally random instead of the radio always doing the same command)

Did you have find solution to your cycling issue?  I have the same problem after upgrading firmware to 4.1 hybrid.  The system works much better after the upgrade except for the cycling issue.
