It appears you have to choose one or the other... which seems silly.

Maybe a IP Bus cable or splitting the Aux looking cable from the Ipod cable?

there is a reason that the cable that plugs into the rear of the radio is so long, when you want to use the aux or a USB thumb drive, you need to unplug the ipod cable and then either plug in a jump drive or a aux caxble,
