I'm new here. Hopefully this question hasn't been asked before. At least I can't find anything about it.

My question is if its possible to extend the maximum number of folders with mp3's on an external USB harddisk. 300 is very limited.

yea, I found a way!

just be like the rest of the world and get a damn ipod, all the music in the world, and no folder structure BS to deal with. just put all thfe music on there and filter through it by the tag information

however if your still relying on file name and folder structure, your mp3 data (mp3 tags) is probably spotty at best.
