Does anyone know of a replacement for backgrounder for iOS 5. I dont think its going to be updated for it and it makes life so much better on the APPradio. You can back out of the app on your phone but your headunit will still updated and remain control of the app. So if i need to respond to a text or something i can. Anyone know of anything or willing to look into develop something?

Hey just found an updated Backgrounder for IOS5 (January 19 2012).

Please note that it is a patched version of backgrounder for iOS5 and is a BETA. It says to Please use at your own risk.

Im currently using the backgrounder version from insanelyi Repository.

Im using it on an Iphone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 and its seems to be working very well. I havent tested it with appradio yet.

Have you tried this with the AppRadio yet? Do the applications stay on the radio's display when you press the home button?

Edit: Answered my own question. The applications do stay on the screen when in the background.

So no solution yet to continue to view applications on display with out iPhone display
