New to this forum though not new to the Pioneer Navi systems. Have been running with the Z1 since '06. Have software upgraded to Z3 over the years. I also have the Pioneer Bluetooth module, IPOD interface and the GEX-P10XMT (XM/Traffic) box.

 

I'm beginning to get the itch to move up to the 1xxBT series. I've been researching a bit and would really appreciate your input. First it seems, like the Zx series, it's a matter of software upgrades to change from a 110BT to 120BT to 130BT. Looking at the 1xxBT series it also seems that only the 130 has the Traffic option built into the hardware. This is an option I definitely require. So am I correct when I say that if I were to get a 110Bt unit I can eventually upgrade to a 130BT from a software perspective and add an external traffic module to get that option? Thereby taking a 110BT to a full blown 130BT unit?
