hi please help i am going tomorrow for the install

and i asked the installer about the auto dimm he seem familiar with this unit he told me how it only has the auto day mode and does not have a auto nite mode

so i have to manly dimm the unit at nite time he said

i asked him about running it to eh headlamp switch or something he said he can look into it and see how that would work

I would like to get some info on this so when i go in in the Morning i can explain to him how others have done this

so he can try it for me

please any help would be great thank you

i have it all set up but the only thing i don't have is the orange dim line hook up how do i do that ?

any help please would be grate is that supposed to go into the car harness or am i supposed to run that to the pac harness or headlamp switch directly ?

You need a wiring harness schematic for your specific vehicle - they are all different. Look for the wire that went to the OEM radio and turned on the lights for it - use that wire.

You migh try finding the wiring colors over at the12volt.com

i spoke with PAC last nite they said all i need to do is connect the Orange wire on there PAC os2-gm32 harness i used to the ilumination wire on the pioneer harness and it should work automatically like that

now i feel real dumb like a dumb ass cause i could have sworn i read somewhere that i needed to run it directly to the light switch itself lol
