Hi i have a few questions about the Audio settings

i am a bit confused with

first the sub woofer settings if i have a harness like the PAC harness that lets me keep use of my Factory amp and my factory bose speakers 8 speaker system with factory Sub

should i keep the Pioneer HU AV-setting Subwoofer Setting to off ? since i don't use the sub woofer jack on the radio or should i still use that and have it on ?

also in the picture i posted below how come all the faded out options are faded out like the Rear/Speaker option where it says Sub.w no matter what audio format i put in weather i play from a SD car a CD drive Pandora Ipod mode or Blue Tooth that is always fadded out

is that only for movies or what would i have to be listening to to have that option not faded

You should keep the sub-woofer setting to off. If you don't it will cut out those frequencies and send them to the sub-woofer RCA cables that you aren't using.

Regarding the rear speaker Sub W. button that is faded out, that has to do with using the High-level (speaker wires) off the head unit to directly drive either rear speakers or a sub-woofer (see Page 171/172 in operator's manual - at least that's where it's at in my copy).

Since you use the RCA cables and an external amp the setting is of no use - I assume the head unit is sensing you don't have anything hooked up there and so it is grayed out (however, you know what they say about assume, so don't put to much faith in my explanation on the grayed out text).

i was up rea reading hte manaul on the system from 1am till about 3am i got to page 40 lol im not good with reading learning disabled and dyslexic so when i do my reading it takes me a long time

im going to try and make another 30 or 40 pages today
