I only thought of this due to me actually requiring someone to upload an original pioneer AVIC-F9110BT with updates as my update from the Pioneer website failed, so it would be a good idea for people like me who diudnt know about this site beforehand and had not backed their old firmware up.

GOOD IDEA??

Yep, good idea.

or its a much better ideal to just back up your system.

the problem with having that section, is that somebody has to host those files, and at over 2gigs, people cant host those files for too long before they will need thfe space for something they will actually use.
