my avic-d1 was working fine, except if i start the car and drive for like 1hour, its started to make some king of noise, sounds like something loose in there, or something got to do with the motor that spin the dvd, i've tried the copy dvd disc, same thing happen, it sounds like it gets lounder and lounder....any solution or should i bring back for warranty? thanks guy 
are wires or wire, poking through being clipped by the fan in the back? do you think that the 1 hour time frame is coincidental ??
i am sure it's not the wire that poking anywhere, i've check already, i've also tried to eject the disc once the noise started, the noise go away if i take disc out, as soon i put the disc in the noise come backare wires or wire, poking through being clipped by the fan in the back? do you think that the 1 hour time frame is coincidental ??
ok, look at the disk, see if its warped I had one just like that do something similar in my laptop the other day.
u sure its not the brain making the loud noise? when i first got my n3, i thought it was my head unit also but i listened closely to it and follow the noise to the brain. its the gyroscope inside the brain making the noise. all else fails, bring it back! good luck!
The d1 doesn't have a separate brain. Everything is built into the radio.
now as soon i started the car, the noise comes right away, no the disc is in good shape, i've tried both the new copy disc and the original disc, oh and now i got the insert the disc mesage....i think it's done..waranty now i think..
