Few days ago I went to call my wife on the way home from work and noticed the BT wasn't working and the light wasn't coming on... quick reset of the radio noticed that the blue light came on for a second and then blinked fast 2x and never came back on. In the settings the BT was turned on and when I went to version it said UNAVAILABLE and no update button- was greyed out. So I put up with the lack of BT for about 2 days and couldn't stand it anymore and tried doing a restore. Now the unit is useless... I have tried to restore it total of 7 times this evening to no availability ! Tried doing a 4.0 update, 3.0 and 3.1 and I can't get the unit to power up. I can get it into test mode, it will copy my "trimmed" restore but when I go to reboot it, the Pioneer logo shows up and then goes blank. I can hear it running in the background still, but the unit will not power up. If I put the memory card back in the unit it will boot up and go into test mode...

Clueless... I've updated a few of these for buds at work, had mods done to it but I can't get the unit to work. I just bought a X930BT for the wife yesterday, and might have to put the kabosh on that install as I can't stand having no music/BT in my car !
