When the 'tuner' part came up, it was easy to assume it is the fm/am or even the xm, but the msn never made sense. topic answered

You could try to go into the test mod and force it to do a reinstall, maybe that will fix your issue.

To get into the test mode you hold mode and hit volume up, volume down, volume up, volume down and so on.

There is a option on the first screen that will enable you to force a reinstall of the files from the update.

Unplug your old MSN Traffic Tuner. This has been covered before. The only traffic tuner supported is the new RDS one that comes w/Z130 and costs $80-100. And yes. Pioneer screwed-up by not stating that in the upgrade instructions.
