Will 40MT Version 1.2 stop my bypass on my N1? Will I have to open the unit and solder it. If so what dvd can I buy so I don't have to do this to my N1

No, it won't change the bypass. If you ever upgrade to newer software (CNDV50, 60, 70, etc.), they will effect your bypass

I heard if I upgrade my N1 to CNDV-50MTP version 1.1 It will not change the bypass. IS THIS TRUE. and that if its version 1.2 then it will change it.

Either version of the 50 series software will require soldering to bypass the lockout.

As I said before: No 40 series software will change the bypass. If you ever upgrade to newer software (any version of CNDV50, 60, 70, etc.), they will effect your bypass.
