I just ordered an X930BT and am looking to install a rearview camera. Instead of running the video wire all the way to the dash I was thinking of using a wireless feed. Has anybody tried this....Does it work well?

you know this wireless set up still has to be plugged into the RCA harness on the HU right ?

 

just wanted to make sure you knew this

some think they don;'t and i ahve seen a few buy them for other systems to only return them when they found out they had to pay someone 50 or 60 bucks to install it

 

ok now for the good i have 1 person i know who uses it no issues

but im guessing there might be a reason why Crutchfield stopped carying it maybe think about that also

Yeah I'm aware that it gets connect to the RCA harness. I've installed the head unit myself and wired up this module...pretty simple. Just waiting for the backup camera to come in from Japan to install the module in the rear.

 

Glad to know someone hasn't had issues with it.
