What's up guys and gals,.....Just signed on and saying hi.

I am currently waiting for my Z1, of which may now be the Z2, according to my vendor, I have read a lot of great posts here and when the time comes, I will be asking a lot of first timer questions.

I had the N2 in my last vehicle with the back up camera over ride, ( we had a pretty racy video playing on the way to my bachelor party 2 years ago), but with my new vehicle, Nisan Titan, I want to go with an in dash.

Anyone have any inside info on Pioneer release dates for the Z2? Any Z1's available? Is there really that much difference, since I read we can upgrade the firmware / software anyway, (I think). Ar ethe bypass mods history now?

Any comments, suggestion appreciated, and I will post pics of the entire install, (have my scosche, just waiting)

From what I understand, the difference between the Z2 and Z1 will be software only (with the exception of having "Z2" written on the front). The software upgrade, which includes better navigation, will be available for Z1 owners and will turn a Z1, effectively, into a Z2.

Thanks Action,...any idea on where to pick one up? I was able to get them from my wholesaler and I'm currently "next" on the list of 62 people believe it or not. I've been waiting since November and reading my googlemaps is getting a little frustrating. LOL

I dunno, I got mine at Circuit city in early January. Likely not the best deal in the world, tho'.
