I have a 2007 WRX STI Limited with an Aux jack built into the car from the factory. I would like to retain the functionality of the jack when I install my AVIC-Z1. Does anyone know how to do this?

There should just be a left and right signal and a common ground, for the aux input jack on your Subie. Solder some RCA pigtails onto the end that terminates at your factory deck and you should be good to go.

Thanks Chris. I am assuming that the Z1 accepts male inputs for the RCA connectors. Do you by anychance happen to know where I can find a picture of the back of a Z1?
