Hello all. First post on here so go easy on me haha. So my f700bt is giving me the startup please wait screen and im having issues trying to resolve this. This is what i have done so far to the unit (original factory options intact): I have tried to down load the fx 3.1 firmware upgrade from thepiratebay, finally learned how to use torrent and saved it to my sd card, reformatted the sd card to FAT32and resaved the rar file to it. When i turn the unit on with sd card ,go into service mode and go try the winceformat under sd format it is saying it cant find the file. The RAR file is the root file as far as i know. Can anyone help with some advice? I have been digging the forum for 2 days and cant find the answer. Thanks in advance.

did you copy both winceimg.bin AND winceimg.cks to root of the sd card?

See thats where i think im having the issue. After downloading the rar file from that torrent link i loaded it as is to my sd card and put it in the hu. I also tried openning the rar with an unrar tool and loading it on the sd like that with no luck. And as far as this root file topic im having so doubts on that. A root file is the first file you see when you open the sd card right?

Figured it out. i read that the rar file needed to be the root file, but i changed that and did the 4 files under that link to the root and it finally read the sd card.
