which is the better way to go? wait for the z2 or just purchase a z1 through ebay and wait for the z2 update?

any opinions on which would be the better way to go?

and also, is there a way to insure my z1 if i do choose to get it through ebay?

Hard to get a warranty through Pioneer when buying through ebay because an auction number is not really proof of original purchase
