My Pioneer Pioneer AVIC-X920BT DVD/NAV/AV unit (with Pioneer GEX-P920XM XM Satellite Radio) is losing my XM radio presets. This started approximately two or three weeks ago. Since then I have had to manually add the XM stations back to my preset list a few times, only to lose those settings again. Sometimes the presets will remain a few days, sometimes just a day or two. I’ve also noticed that my Passport 9500IX will not come on when I turn on the ignition (set to come on with the ignition), but sometimes it will. I’m just wondering now if the Pioneer and/or Passport aren’t connected to constant power, and is causing this problem, or could something else be causing this anomaly. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Sounds like a possible short for the constant power (yellow) that feed those units. Meter out the constant power with the ignition turned off and see if you can find the problem or pattern to the issue.
